A comprehensive 1-hour webinar designed to provide participants with the foundations to begin your anti-racist journey.  Drawing on Jenny's 25-year career experience in delivering this work, the webinar will help to contextualise the cultural sector's journey towards race equity and equip participants with knowledge and understanding of what anti-racist practice is in the cultural sector.

  • Defining of racism and understanding its different forms - structurally and culturally 
  • Insight into how cultural racism manifests
  • Key terms and concepts in race equity to include micro-aggressions, unconscious bias, privilege, intersectionality, allyship and micro-inequities
  • Learning about the historical context of race equity work in the cultural sector and the difference we now have in implementing sectoral change and leadership
  • Space to start thinking through your own organisational language and anti-racist journey
