The Take the Space Implementation Framework (Heritage Edition)
For organisations ready to embed inclusive, anti-racist and (where relevant) decolonial practice into how they operate.
The Implementation Framework is delivered through one of two pathways. Organisations choose one, based on scope.
Pathway A — Inclusive & Anti-Racist Practice
This pathway is right if your organisation:
- Wants to embed inclusive and anti-racist practice across systems
- Is not working directly with decolonisation of collections or narratives
- Needs coherence across governance, interpretation, workforce, access and engagement
Pathway B — Inclusive, Anti-Racist and Decolonial Practice
This pathway is right if your organisation:
- Is working with decolonisation alongside race equity and inclusion
- Holds multiple strategies that need bringing into one system
- Wants to avoid fragmented or contradictory approaches
Guided delivery is recommended for this pathway due to the depth and integration of the work.
